Mike Bloomer

Mike is an extremely versatile musician.  He performs several stringed instruments (*bass, *cello, and *guitar) and covers a wide range of musical styles (jazz, rock, classical, and more!). Mike cannot be compared to anyone else because nobody else in town offers such a unique blend of music for his audiences to enjoy.

As a classically trained musician with a bachelor’s degree in double bass, Mike has extensive performance experience with everything from small combos to large orchestras and he has a excellent reputation in town for being a first rate musician.

In 2006 Mike began exploring the cello and quickly learned to adapt the cello to musical styles other than classical. It’s a very expressive instrument because it mirrors the sound of the human voice. Adding rich effects to the cello Mike is able to create a beautiful sound the captures the hearts of his listeners. Mike adds the guitar to his show for variety and maximum impact. Watch out when he plays the bass!
